80th Independence Celebration





 Dated : 15th August, 2026 

Today we celebrated the 80th Independence Day of our country. The celebration got started by flag hoisting by the chief guests. Different Performances depicting the culture of our country were performed by students. New ideas and thoughts were shared by the new generation on how we can contribute in the developememnt of our nation. 

Students who got selected in National level exams especially, NEET got rewarded and honored by whole village Panchayat and School.

At the end I would like to say "Independence serves a great role in our lives. This Independence day celebrate the freedom, peace and prosperity."

GANDHI JAYANTI AND LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI JAYANTI CELEBRATION

  “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi On 1st October, our school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri with great respect and enthusiasm as there is public holiday on 2nd October on the occasion of Dussehara. The day holds a special significance as it marks the birth of two great leaders of India—Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of India. The program began with garlanding the portraits of both leaders, followed by a brief speech by the Principal highlighting their contributions. Students presented patriotic songs, skits, and poems that reflected the values of truth, non-violence, and simplicity taught by Mahatma Gandhi, as well as Shastri Ji’s ideals of honesty, humility, and his famous slogan, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.” As part of the celebration, a Swachhta Abhiyaan (Cleanliness Drive) was also organized in the school premises. Celebrating the 79th independence Day at Mahatma Gandhi Govt School, Kasba Dehra

“Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?” These words by Mahatma Gandhi remind us why Independence Day is one of the most cherished occasions in India. On 15th August 2025, Mahatma Gandhi Govt School in Kasba Dehra, Umren, Alwar, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and devotion.  The celebrations began with the flag hoisting ceremony, a moment that filled every heart with pride. The principal of the school Mr. Rajesh Yadav and Sarpanch Mr. Bheem Singh Jonwal  hoisted the national flag, while the students, teachers, and staff stood respectfully and sang the national anthem.
